Peter, Bjorn and John: “Second Chance”, testo e video

È uscito lunedì scorso “Gimme Some”, sesto album degli svedesi Peter, Bjorn and John (autori di un remix nella raccolta dei Depeche Mode di prossima uscita). Probabilmente, a meno che non siate dei fanatici della scena indie, il nome vi dirà poco, ma la loro “Young Folks” la conoscete di sicuro, anche senza saperlo. Il primo singolo estratto dal loro ultimo LP si intitola “Second Chance” e suona come se fosse stato registrato in mono negli anni ’60 (provvisto anche di coretti indie-surf). Il video consiste in una semplice colata di liquidi e solidi sulla band, ma è reso particolare da un’idea piuttosto semplice che smentisce le parole del pezzo (“The second chance will never be found”).
