Boyzone: il video e il testo di “Gave It All Away”

Il 10 ottobre 2009, all’età di 33 anni moriva Stephen Gately, cantante dei Boyzone. Era in vacanza a Maiorca col marito Andrew Cowles. A tre mesi dalla scomparsa dell’amico e compagno, la band ha deciso di rendergli omaggio con la pubblicazione di “Gave It All Away”, un brano inedito cantato proprio da Gately. La canzone era stata scritta da Mika ma alcuni problemi burocratici ne avevano impedito la pubblicazione. Di recente il gruppo ha incontrato quest’ultimo a Los Angeles il quale ha dato il suo consenso all’uscita del pezzo che è considerato una sorta di testamento lasciato dall’artista scomparso. È stato pubblicato anche un videoclip nel quale si vede anche Gately nei suoi momenti di spensieratezza. Di seguito trovate il testo del brano.
