American Country Awards 2011: i vincitori, trionfa Jason Aldean

Con ben sei statuette portate a casa Jason Aldean è l’indiscusso dominatore degli American Country Awards 2011, la cui cerimonia di premiazione è stata condotta da Trace Adkins e Kristin Chenoweth all’MGM Grand di Las Vegas. Il cantante 34enne, già vincitore di due premi ai Country Music Awards di Nashville, è stato premiato come artista dell’anno, per l’album, singolo e video dell’anno sia da solo che in coppia con Kelly Clarkson. Tra le donne la più premiata è stata Carrie Underwood (tre riconoscimenti per lei), mentre la reginetta del country Taylor Swift, donna dell’anno secondo Billboard e trionfatrice agli AMA’s 2011, se n’è andata incredibilmente a mani vuote. Il vincitore di Americal Idol 10 Scotty McCreery invece si è aggiudicato il premio come Best New Artist.
